About Curvo Labs
Curvo Labs is the leading SaaS and Data-as-a-Service platform for healthcare supply chain analytics. We help hospitals, health systems, and suppliers manage non-labor spend. Our data shows them where costs come from, and our insights lead to measurable savings and better clinical and purchasing decisions.
Curvo and BroadJump merged to form the combined company. It now covers nearly 40% of the U.S. healthcare supply chain market and serves more than 2,500 hospitals and surgery centers that together manage over $400 billion in spend data. Our proprietary GIC© classification and construct logic is the industry’s gold standard for implants and physician preference items (PPI). We combine it with AI-powered analytics and clinical data science, and customers see 4x+ ROI.
Curvo is backed by Hughes and Company, a private equity firm focused on innovative healthcare technology. We’re scaling quickly to build the first end-to-end non-labor spend optimization platform for healthcare.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to build and lead the finance function of a PE-backed SaaS company at an inflection point. As Director, Finance, you’ll join the leadership team and own all financial operations for the combined Curvo–BroadJump organization. That covers accounting, FP&A, cash management, budgeting, finance systems, compliance oversight, and M&A support. You’ll be a key thought partner to the executive team, the Board, and our investors.
We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic finance leader who wants to build a best-in-class function from the ground up, not inherit one.
What You’ll Do
Lead strategy and partner with the executive team
- Work with the executive team, Board, and Hughes and Company on financial planning, capital allocation, risk management, and value creation. That includes ARR growth, retention, and margin improvement.
- Set up and track key financial and operational KPIs, and put OKRs into practice across Finance, Operations, and Customer teams.
Integrate and scale
- Lead the financial integration of Curvo and BroadJump. That means a unified chart of accounts, revenue modeling, cost synergies, SaaS revenue recognition, and consolidated reporting.
- Support M&A from start to finish: finding and screening targets, due diligence, valuation and deal modeling, working with advisors, preparing Board materials, and integrating acquisitions after close.
Own the finance tech stack
- Act as primary owner and administrator of QuickBooks (GL, close, reporting), Bill.com (AP and approvals), Maxio (billing, collections, revenue recognition, ARR metrics), and Numeral (sales tax compliance).
- Oversee integrations and data flows with adjacent systems such as CRM and payroll/PEO, so data stays accurate and reporting is unified as we grow.
- Build standardized policies and controls for deferred revenue, billing, and contract management.
Turn data into business insight
- Build frameworks for customer lifetime value, retention economics, cost-to-serve, and segmentation with Sales and Customer Success.
- Find ways to improve pricing, gross margin, and how we monetize our proprietary data assets and AI-driven offerings.
- Model the financial impact of new products, services, and pricing strategies.
Build the team and manage partners
- Hire and grow a high-performing finance team across accounting, FP&A, and systems.
- Manage relationships with fractional accounting partners, auditors, outside counsel, and HR/PEO providers to keep us compliant and well governed.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Significant, progressive finance leadership experience in senior FP&A or finance operations roles, ideally at PE-backed, high-growth technology companies.
- Deep expertise in SaaS and subscription revenue models. Experience with hybrid SaaS + services models is a strong plus.
- A solid understanding of healthcare economics and what drives cost containment across U.S. healthcare spend.
- A track record of building scalable financial infrastructure and high-performing teams in lean, fast-moving environments.
- Hands-on M&A experience: due diligence, valuation, deal modeling, and post-close integration.
- Hands-on administration of QuickBooks, Bill.com, Maxio (or a similar billing and revenue recognition platform), and Numeral (or a similar sales tax tool). Familiarity with Pave is a plus.
- The ability to turn complex financial data into clear, actionable insight for executives and the Board.
- An entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves approach. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and like building processes from scratch.
- A collaborative style with a strong sense of ownership, transparency, and data-driven problem-solving.
Why Curvo
